During the five week program, in the company of a group of exciting and similarly inclined people, you will be given the chance to learn and experience the thrill of SCUBA diving. Upon completion of this course, you will be eligible to do the open water dives for international SCUBA certification. For certification, arrangements can be made to do a series of dives with your instructor locally or on your next vacation to the tropics or elsewhere. All the necessary equipment, including mask, fins and snorkel, is supplied.

The lectures are held at Tiedemann's Diving Center, Thursdays at 7:30 PM. The pool sessions will be held on Saturday afternoon at Hofstra University. This program will allow you to finish all the lectures and pool work necessary to start enjoying the exciting world of SCUBA Diving. New programs will start about every 6 weeks during the Spring, Summer and Fall. Check the Calendar for the next course dates or call the shop at 516-796-6560 for future dates.
