Computer Diving

If you own a dive computer or you are thinking about getting one why not learn the details of Computer Diving. More and more divers are using dive computers. These computers can give you more bottom time, make your diving safer and much simpler. To take advantage of all these great benefits you have to know how to use the dive computer correctly. The Computer Diving program, which consists of one video lecture at the Center and two open water dives at Dutch Springs, will not only teach you how to use the unit correctly but also give you the chance to try computer diving on relatively deep dives. This program can be taken with our Wreck Diving or Deep Diving program. This means you can complete two specialties in just one weekend while gaining important diving skills and using a dive computer.

These courses are being taught on the same days as our Deep Diving or Wreck Diving programs (which can be taken at the same time). All open water work will be done at Dutch Springs in PA. Each member of the class will need a full set of equipment and two tanks. Extra equipment needed includes a slate, a pony tank setup, a set of dive tables and a dive computer the computer (may be rented for the one day of diving).  Please check the Calendar for the dates this course will be held.

A deposit of $25.00 will hold a spot for you. The total cost of the includes all instruction and your Specialty certification with SSI in Computer Diving. Members of the class are responsible for Dutch Springs entrance fees. Our Computer Diving program counts towards one of the programs needed for SSI Advanced Certification.
